Apollon Ladies F.C. proudly announces the signing of Rachel Avant, a versatile and experienced defender. Born on September 22, 1993, Avant holds dual nationality, being both German and US-American. Her extensive career has seen her play in numerous countries, adding a wealth of international experience to our squad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Avant\u2019s journey in professional football has been marked by her tenacity and consistency. Most recently, she played for SK Sturm Graz in Austria during the latter part of the 2023-24 season, after a stint with FH Fimleikaf\u00e9lag Hafnarfjar\u00f0ar in Iceland. At SK Sturm Graz, she started in 9 out of 10 games and playing the full 90 minutes in each of those matches. Additionally, Avant showcased her playmaking ability with an assist and competed in the \u00d6FB Women\u2019s Cup quarter-final.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Her career has taken her across six countries: the USA, Sweden, Germany, France, Iceland, and Austria. Each experience has made her a valuable asset to Apollon Ladies F.C.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rachel Avant\u2019s jersey number will be 5, as we aim for new heights in the upcoming season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
